That’s me: Melanie
nutritional scientist, mom, gardener, cook, baker. Dies for cake, ice-cream and potatoes.
Passionate about reading aloud. Somewhat unwilling to grow up.
Gardening became a passion after building a house with a garden. I quickly started thirsting for knowledge about self-sufficiency, urban gardening, herbs, medical plants and fruit and vegetable varieties. Sometimes I would like nothing more than to just sleep among all my plants and watch the little plant babies grow. Fortunately, I love cooking, baking and eating, so my veggies – grown with loving care – are able to spend their well-deserved retirement as a feast for the family. I am merely a bit concerned about developing an addiction to collecting herbs …
Use what talents you possess;
the woods would be very silent
if no birds sang there except those that sang best.
